Nikki “Take it From Mummy” and her family

I’ve known about Nikki longer than I’ve known Nikki – she’s something of a local celebrity. Her facebook page “Mum Knows Best Warwickshire” has been an absolute lifeline to me since having my son two years ago. Nikki works tirelessly to help local mums with advice, support and entertainment, and as well as this, she runs a great blog, takeitfrommummy.com which is also crammed full of great tips for parents. I honestly don’t know how she finds the time for it all, but I do know how much the mums of Warwickshire appreciate all her efforts.

So when she came to me for a photoshoot, I was absolutely over the moon. I was desperate to do a good job for someone who had helped me so many times over the last two crazy years of parenthood. We had a romp around the stunning grounds of Coombe Abbey, through their woods and around the lake and through the beautiful gardens. It really is an incredible place to take photos, and I changed the time to the evening to catch that truly delicious sunset golden-hour light.

I’m so pleased with how these turned out. They are such a lovely family, they work so incredibly hard, the kids are just adorable and the love they all have for each other just shines through. Here are a few of my personal favourites from the shoot.
